  Should you ever have any problems or concerns regarding your new home, our Customer Service Department will address them as quickly as possible. In order to facilitate a timely and accurate response, you are required to submit a Request for Service. All Requests for Service must be submitted in writing to The Salter Company, Inc. main office. Verbal service requests will not be accepted over the phone. The request may either be sent in the mail, via e-mail or via facsimile to:

If you have several issues that need addressing, please include all issues in one correspondence. Please make sure that you include as many telephone numbers as are necessary to contact you, so that the Customer Service Department can set up an appointment to inspect the items on your list.

All Requests for Service must be made in writing within thirty (30) days upon noticing any non-emergency issue. You must submit your Request for Service AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. Some problems may get worse over time and/or cause damage to other components within your home. Any damage caused by a delay in notifying The Salter Company, Inc. of a problem is the responsibility of the homeowner and The Salter Company, Inc. will not be held liable.

Upon receipt of your Request for Service, The Salter Company, Inc. will fix the problem at no cost to you. The decision whether to (a) repair or (b) replace an item will be made by The Salter Company, Inc. at its sole discretion. All repairs and replacements will be performed within a reasonable period of time depending on existing work schedules and availability of materials. All inspections and repair work schedule by The Salter Company, Inc. will be done between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Certain conditions such as weather conditions, labor problems, material shortages or other reasons beyond The Salter Company, Inc.’s control may cause delays.
